South Paw

The movie South Paw is about Billy Hope, an undefeated professional boxer. His wife, Maureen thinks that he should stop boxing while he is doing well, she never enjoyed boxing being his career since it would drain him mentally and injury him physically. Maureen was shot and killed by Miguel’s brother. Miguel was an up-and-coming boxer. Billy then uses drugs and alcohol to get his mind off of his deceased wife. Meanwhile Billy continues his search for Hector, Miguel’s brother. Billy makes a mistake by attacking a referee after losing a fight, ends up getting suspended, and loses his house, belongings, and loses custody of his daughter, Leila. In the meantime he obtains a job at a gym owned by Titus Wills, a seasoned boxer. Billy somehow convinces Titus to be his trainer. Soon after, Billy’s former manager, Jordan Mains lands him a fight with Miguel, who Jordan is currently managing. In the end, Billy wins by a split-decision, and after is reunited with his daughter Leila where she forgives him for his past mistakes.

Fast & Furious 7

The movie Fast and Furious seven is about Dom and his team returning to the United States in hopes to live their normal lives again. A bomb destroys the Toretto house. Dom then gets himself into a car chase with Shaw, but Shaw gets away. A covert ops team member tells Dom that he will help Dom stop Shaw under two conditions. One condition being that Dom get him a computer program called God’s Eye. God’s Eye has the power to track down a person. The second condition being to rescue the creator of God’s Eye, Ramsey, a hacker. Dom and his team rescue Ramsey, and then head to Dhabi where God’s Eye is supposedly located. But, unfortunately it was obtained by Jakande, the one who abducted Ramsey, and Dom and his team are forced to go back to California to obtain God’s Eye from Jakande and to fight of Shaw once and for all. Jakande goes off to destroy Dom and the rest of the team, while Dom is fighting Shaw. Hobbs, an old friend of the team, helps them out and blows up Jakande and his helicopter. In the end, Jakande dies, and Hobbs take Shaw into custody.

The Visit

The movie The Visit is about two siblings, Becca and Tyler, that were sent on a week long visit to see and meet their grandparents for the first time while their mother goes on a vacation with her boyfriend. The reason why the two children have never met their grandparents before is because the last time that their mother has seen her parents they left on bad terms. Most of the entire movie, Becca is recording their trip on a camera to document their grandparents in hope of rekindling their mother’s and grandparents relationship. While on their visit, the children notice weird behavior from their grandparents, were told to never go into the basement because of toxic mold, and to never come out of the bedroom after nine-thirty at night. Then to find out over a Skype conversation with their mother that those people were not even their actual grandparents. In the end, the people that were posing as the children’s grandparents attack the children, and the children find the dead bodies of their actual grandparents in the basement.

Jurassic World

The movie Jurassic World is about two siblings, Zach and Gray, that are visiting their Aunt Claire at a theme park called Jurassic World. Jurassic World is a theme park filled with cloned dinosaurs. The boys’ Aunt Claire is the park’s operations manager, her time is taken up by her job and she has her assistant show the boys’ around the park. While on their trip, the Indominus Rex, a new type of dinosaur broke out of his isolation unit. Owen, the Velociraptor trainer, and Claire go out to find Claire’s two nephews. Owen ends up being forced to guide the Velociraptors to track down the Indominus Rex. The Indominus Rex kills off a few people and Velocirators. Owen and Claire decide that what they must do to stop the park’s newest dinosaur is to set the Tyrannosaurus Rex loose. In the end, the Tyrannosaurus Rex leads the Indominus Rex towards the Mosasaurus where he is killed off.

The Mockingjay: Part 2

The movie The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part II is about Katniss Everdeen, The Archer, and her friend, Peeta Mellark. Katniss attempted to rally the loyalists against the capitol but ended up getting injured. The goal in the movie was to kill President Snow, a very evil man that despised Katniss. There was an invasion planned, Katniss sneaks into a supply ship to be transported to where the invasion is being planned. She was then assigned to the “Star Squad”, including twelve people. Thirteen including Katniss, then to be joined by Peeta which makes fourteen people in total. They set of to the Capitol to obtain the goal of killing off President Snow. But face many interruptions. Such as, booby traps, and the Presidents army. Some of the team were wounded and killed off in the process. President Snow invites citizens to his house for protection. In reality, just planning on killing some of them off. Katniss became unconscious from the explosions. She then wakes up to be invited by Coin, the leader of the rebellion, along with the remaining Hunger Games victors to take a vote on having another Hunger Games. Katniss surprisingly votes in favor, but only so that she can kill President Snow. When Katniss obtained the chance to kill President Snow, she purposefully misses President Snow and kills Coin.
